What Boards Ask Before Switching

How fast can you transition?

We have transitioned a community in as little as 3 days. However, we recommend a minimum of 30 days to ensure a thorough and complete handover. The actual timeline is largely determined by your current management contract — specifically the required termination notice period. We will review your contract with you in the first conversation.

What sets the transition timeline?

Your existing management contract sets the minimum transition time. Look for the termination notice period currently outlined in your contract. Our recommendation is to send the termination notice approximately 10 days before the end of the month to ensure a clean calendar-month cutover. We handle the notice on your behalf once you give us the green light.

Want other vendors changed? Tell us early.

If you want alternative quotes or new vendors for your community — landscaping, maintenance, insurance, or otherwise — let us know upfront. We can build vendor changes directly into the transition process so your community hits the ground on day one with the right partners in place, rather than waiting months for a future board meeting to review bids.

What happens the first week after go-live?

Expect a Board meeting in the first week after go-live. This is when we vote on any policy change recommendations, review bids for new vendors if relevant, walk through how the go-live went, and address any homeowners who are yet to pay their assessments. We come fully prepared — your Board just needs to show up.
